COURSE OVERVIEW
The Level 3 Award in Control Room Management programme is formally endorsed by the National Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN) as well as being an accredited and certified learning programme by Highfield Qualifications. It is aimed at learners who are either members of a contracted guarding company or site personnel employed as Control Room Operators or Incident Responders.
It has been developed for those who want to improve their operational crisis management capability. Learners will understand how to manage workplace incidents and how to work in a seamless partnership with the police and other blue light services. The training is delivered to provide a number of challenging and realistic scenarios relevant to the industries they work in and their own specific work environments.

As an accredited and certified learning programme from Highfield Qualifications and for the purpose of transparency, it is not a regulated qualification, nor is it recognised by the regulators of England, Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland (Ofqual, Qualification Wales and SQA), but can be used as prior knowledge and training to enrol onto an accredited programme in the future.
COURSE DETAILS
This programme is approved for delivery to learners aged 18+ that have completed the pre-course distance learning package before attending the onsite learning element.
The training programme will take a minimum of 12 hours to complete, including the pre-course distance learning package.
