Close Protection Course (Level 3)

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our SIA-approved Level 3 course in Close Protection provides a comprehensive package of skills, delivered in a diverse range of environments, and in a number of fast moving, challenging and realistic scenarios.  You will learn a wide range of skills, including: threat assessments; surveillance; team work; self defense; vehicle techniques; IED awareness; communications and kidnap for ransom awareness training. 


This intensive and demanding course allows you to access the skills and expertise we have acquired from decades of operational experience in UK special forces, specialist police units and the intelligence services.  Our course exceeds industry requirements, covering Kidnap Awareness, Advanced Driving, Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry and will (wherever possible) introduce additional elements to prepare you for CP deployments, which might include: simulated kidnap; talks from people who have been held for hostage; and opportunities to talk with experienced operatives from our own CP teams.

COURSE DETAILS

This is an intensive 14 day residential course, held at dedicated training facilities in Cardiff, Wales. The facility includes a modern, fully equipped training room with comprehensive IT support; dedicated ‘break out’ areas; on-site admin support and ample car parking. 


This course can also be delivered for our Corporate Clients at their premises subject to suitable training facilities being made available.

Please note that a valid First Aid at Work or FPOS certificate is required on the CP SIA licence application.
